Pre-proposal Meeting – RFQ 2026-392-DF – Roofing Consulting Services

The City of Miami Beach (“City”) Department of Parks, Facilities, Fleet, and Beaches is responsible for the ongoing maintenance and preservation of City‑owned facilities, including all roofing and exterior envelope systems. Although the City maintains a Job Ordering Contract (“JOC”) for larger roofing and electrical construction projects, this contract does not address the City’s need for specialized professional consulting services required to evaluate roof conditions, diagnose system deficiencies, or support long‑term asset management planning.

To meet these needs, the City is seeking qualifications from experienced and licensed firms to provide comprehensive roof consulting services on an as‑needed basis. These services will include, but are not limited to, detailed roof assessments, moisture diagnostics, exterior envelope evaluations, preventive maintenance oversight, asbestos sampling when necessary, and related technical support. Consultants will deliver objective findings, technical analyses, drawings, recommendations, and budgetary guidance that will assist the City in planning, prioritizing, and implementing both immediate and long‑range roofing and waterproofing strategies.
