Attendees can ride the free citywide trolley service from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. on the holiday. Service frequency for the trolleys is approximately every 20 minutes. Riders can also request Freebee rides within the Mid Beach and North Beach service areas by downloading the Freebee mobile app, calling 855.918.3733, or hailing a vehicle street-side. Learn more at www.mbfreebee.com.

Eventgoers can opt to travel by bicycle along the beautiful Beachwalk. Click here to learn more about the city's bicycle network and bicycle parking options. Don't have a bike? Learn more about renting a Citi Bike.

If you are planning to drive to South Beach for the festivities, please note that westbound traffic via 5 Street will be reduced to one lane when leaving the city as a result of construction in the area. Please take one of the alternate routes out of the city to avoid unnecessary delays.

WHAT NOT TO BRING

Personal fireworks, Styrofoam, drones, glass containers and alcoholic beverages are prohibited. The city encourages all attendees to do their part by recycling to #KeepMBClean.

Parks Square-2-MonumentIsland

Monument Island Closed to Boaters

The city will close Flagler Monument Island to boaters over the holiday weekend due to a history of some boaters leaving significant litter behind. The uninhabited island will close from Thursday, July 3 at 6 a.m. through Monday, July 7 at 6 a.m.
