Preproposal Conference- RFQ 2026-152-WG Custodial Banking Services

Through this RFQ the Finance Department seeks statements of qualifications from qualified custody banks to ensure its assets are well-protected and efficiently managed. Custody banks play a crucial role in the financial industry, particularly for institutional investors such as pension funds, mutual funds, insurance companies, and investment managers who deal with a large volume of assets and require a reliable and secure partner to manage them.

In accordance with the City of Miami Beach Investment Policy and Procedure, all City investments, are maintained in a depository (custodial account). This independent custodial account must be within the trust department of a major financial institution with a branch located in Miami-Dade County, Florida. The custodian will not be utilized to buy or sell investments for the City. All City investments must be registered in the City’s name.

A Pre-Proposal meeting is scheduled to be held on February 19, 2026, at 10:00 am. Attendance for the pre-proposal meeting shall be via telephone and recommended as a source of information but is not mandatory. Failure to receive an addendum may result in disqualification of the proposal submitted.
