Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series Featuring FIU Brass Band

Led by the dynamic guidance of trumpeter Omar Lateef, these talented musicians come together to showcase the timeless allure of jazz music, infused with the vibrant energy of the FIU community. The FIU Jazz Big Band and University Brass Choir promise an eclectic repertoire that will captivate audiences of all ages. With each performance, they breathe new life into classic standards while also exploring the boundaries of contemporary jazz, pushing the envelope of creativity with every improvisation.

These events (every Sunday!) are free and open to the public– and will take place in Lummus Park between 14th Street and 14th Place. Rainy-day location is inside The Betsy Hotel!
