Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami: Le Corsaire Suite

Based on Lord Byron’s 1814 romantic poem Le Corsaire, Le Corsaire Suite is a curated selection of the ballet’s most celebrated moments, featuring dazzling excerpts such as Le Jardin Animé, the Pas d’Esclave, and the legendary Le Corsaire Pas de Deux, one of classical ballet’s most iconic showpieces.

The Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami (CCBM) under the artistic direction of Eriberto Jimenez, will present Le Corsaire Suite. This enchanting ballet is based on Lord Byron’s epic poem written in 1814, a romantic story of pirates, maidens, slave merchants, and pashas.

The Suite is a compilation of the most beloved scenes from the full-length ballet, including: Le Jardin Animé, Pas d’Esclave, Grand Pas de Trois des Odalisques, Le Corsaire Pas de Deux, & more.
