Celebrate Juneteenth with a live dance performance by the Peter London Global Dance Company. This event will showcase the spirit and strength of the Black community through stunning movement and sound. The dance program celebrates the rich, spiritual and secular diversity found in traditional dance and music from Africa to the New World as well as the Black community’s ability to adapt to the pressures of near insurmountable challenges and near annihilation of its cultural heritage and significance, driving its core ability to survive and thrive through the power of improvisation and innovation.
