The Parks and Recreation Department invites you to celebrate Black History Month by recognizing the heritage, accomplishments, and culture of African Americans.

The Black Affairs Advisory Committee presents the 2026 Black History Month Committee Member Award to Public Service, posthumously, to Officer Arthur "Art" Martineau honoring his exceptional commitment and dedication to the City of Miami Beach and the world.
