This ceremony will promote the importance of the urban forest and requalify the City to receive the Tree City USA designation. Miami Beach has held this designation for 22 years\, a testament to our community’s vital work to protect our tree canopy.  The City’s Urban Forestry team will also host a tree giveaway for residents to help expand and diversify our canopy.
