DESCRIPTION:The City will celebrate Arbor Day with a proclamation and tree planting at the North Beach Compost Hub. This ceremony will promote the importance of the urban forest and requalify the City to receive the Tree City USA designation. Miami Beach has held this designation for 22 years\, a testament to our community’s vital work to protect our tree canopy.  The City’s Urban Forestry team will also host a tree giveaway for residents to help expand and diversify our canopy.
